wildcard4040 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Nah gotta glue, then screw, then glass the inside so when the air is trying to get out it only finds the port lol Quote i think i just gave myself a concussion i facepalmed so hard. and for the 1's that dont like me..... well, Im still here fuckers. Cant get rid of me that easy.
Jextel Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 your port looks mighty narrow..is it with in the 8:1 ratio? Quote http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3042878TEAM DEADLY HERTZ "GET LOUD OR DIE TRYIN"only the loudest will survive.
newls1 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 port looks hella small. When I had my 2 18" BL's, I think I was using 192SQIN of port for them on 2000watts. And your going to need MORE BRACING then what you have done. However, those 09 model BL's do look like a nice improvement from the older models....... jhmeg2 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Why did you choose to do a square ( rectangle) port? why didnt you drop the port a little lower and make it a slot port? It may give you a little more that way, and less port noise. Quote ////Alpine, Eclipse, Load Boss, Pheonix Gold, MB Quart,Digital Desings, Memphis, Stinger, Periphial, MTX, Visualogic
Playa Named Joe Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Nice to see other then white dust caps. I don't think your box is coming undone. Quote 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix build
newls1 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Nice to see other then white dust caps. I don't think your box is coming undone. it may not come "undone", but it will flex like a mofo! 1" dowel rod isnt enough for 2 18" BL's. It took me a few 2x4's and all thread to stop my box flex only using 2000 watts.... His 4 dowels arent going to hold much really at all. Throw in a 2x4 across the top vertically and horizontally and just use some common sense on how to brace it better. Just trying to help....... lolitskasey Posted October 27, 2009 Author Report Posted October 27, 2009 I am putting 2 more 1 inch dowels so that will make it 6 1 inch dowels. And i am going to resin the 45s. Yeah the port dose look a little small. But it is tuned to 30 hz so i dont know. But i think it will be ok and if its not just make a new one. Quote
uluahunta808 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 i really like the golden dust cap logo. makes me "LOL SMILEY FACE" hahaha Quote
