Extra batteries are better than caps, and from what i've heard, you need atleast a 150db to pull off a real hair trick

Not true at all btw. A high 140 @ a low hz will do a pretty badass hairtrick.

I'm also very confused as to what the OP is trying to say/ask here.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

Actually you do need at least 150 dB. But not necessarily at the dash legal score.

i think the OP is asking if it will be possible to do a hairtrick with those subs and amp. and what he needs as far as electrical goes. your def going to need a better electrical than just a few caps. you should get some good batteries and maybe even a HO altenator. but im not really sure what you need. letrs see what other people on this forum say you need as far as electrical goes because im kind of still a noob

Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"

If he had the ALT, how many batts would he need?

If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears.

He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest.

Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video

Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz...

These are the things that make me lol

Thats backwards system design.

First figure how much power you wanna run.

How many 2500s?

When that is figured you can determine the amount and size of batteries needed to sustain that power.

Once the amount and size of batteries is figured, you will need to figure the size of the alternator needed to charge those batteries.

Also, dont do CAPS, they will hurt your system.

I forgot to add,

Dont do JLs, they will hurt your system.

Get something that is actually good and will handle some power.

The new T3 T1000s will be out soon and T2000s

Dc lvl 4s are good too.
