I will give it a try sometime but first I need to shrink the port in order to provide the proper cone control for that low of a note.

Isnt the sealed part what covers cone control in 4th order bandpasses? specially with the lower notes

For the most part yes

The ported chamber serves as a filter and still has an effect on everything to some degree. At this time with how large the port is tuning works out around 50hz and I would like it to be closer to that note if I am going to do some sort of daily option. The only problem with tuning a bandpass low is your depending on the wave from the woofer to come out of the port of the box so you finding a happy medium for port area and tuning (this is why a 4th order is tuned higher then just any standard ported box)

I am going to have to build the roof for sure, the whole front end is dampened with 2-3 layers and one 4500 still managed to eat the glass tonight :(
