Forevrbumpn
Madisound is a awesome place to look for mids, and highs, I'am a regular there If looking on Madisound, look at Seas, Peerless, Morel, Scanspeak (FTW- I would love to see someone run the Illuminator series) http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=8495 I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Nirvalica
I see two problems. 1. They say frequencies above like 50 hz are directional. Ideally if you wanted to go for SQ, you would want those to be set up in stereo, otherwise it'll sound like bass guitars are in your center console. 2. if you use a stereo amp, but have those two woofers mounted in the same box, you could have some cancellation. So if you were going to mount them in the center console, either give each woofer it's own chamber or run them off a monoblock so they are both playing the same signal. My Youtube Page. I'm guessing downfire might help, but it might then sound like it's coming from the floor. I heard/read about someone who put some midbass drivers under his front seats and had them aimed right at the feet of the driver/passenger. He said it turned out surprisingly well. I don't know if you could do that maybe... Maybe build a small bandpass or ported box under both front seats, aim the port towards your feet and have the woofer fire either up or down.
