AI James Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 mine in my explorer has been abused to high hell and back, used to be in the accord dipping into the 9s constantly ive let it drop to 10v in my garage before but its always recharged and been a trooper...now adays it sits at 12.4 in the explorer. moral of the story. you can abuse the crap out of these and they will take it...id buy them had i the cash. Peterbilt offers these as an option. They did a lot of testing along with several other batteries (many brands that people love over and over on these forums), and went with the YT. It was the best bang for the buck, and definitely nothing wrong with it. I remember the engineer on the project testing these by COMPLETE discharge to the point of not even lighting a light bulb and then recharging. Still performed 100% after 15 back to back discharges. I gave my friend a pair that sat in the garage for over a year, pulled them out and they were still 12.3 volts. . .
