cooper205
Decided to get be a little different when it came to putting subs in my truck. Took my center console out and decided to build a simple box for just a little bit of bass. After a few months, I've decided to go all the way. Not really sure on what all to go with so I'd like some advice. Had 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011 SVC 12" subwoofers on a POS Lanzar amp before swapping over to an older model Rockford. Well, the rockford fried and one of my Kenwood subs cracked so I'm just going to replace everything. Open to any suggestions/ideas/etc. Set up Pioneer DEH-3000IB Head Unit Rockford Fosgate Punch P1462 in front slots Kicker DS460 4"x6" in rear slots (2) Kenwood KFC-W3011 12" SVC Subs Hifonics BXi 1610D Amp for Subs Metra Wiring Stock alternator Standard Duralast Battery Stock Electrical
rawlins87
looks good so far. Try both subs up, as far back as they can go. I had good results in my reg cab truck with that setup
cooper205
I planned on going with a new sub/amp setup. One of the Kenwoods has a crack in it and I don't feel like putting a new amp on it only to have it torn apart later on. cooper205
Sealed. Well I say sealed. In the center part where the middle piece lifts up theres about a 1" gap that lets pressure out. I plan on sealing it off completely when I redo everything. cooper205
I'm seriously considering a RF T10001BD and either two Alpine Type S or RF P3 12"s. Any suggestions for this setup? cooper205
As far as a budget goes. I'm looking to spend around $800-1200. As far as space requirements, what you see is what I have, I plan on putting the amp behind my seat.
