That port is quite close to the back wall, I can see sum port noise in your future.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

Rule of thumb generally is port should be 4" or more from the back wall to prevent port noise/allow easier air flow.

the distance is fine, technically it should be half of the port opening since both ports are sharing that space. but the port ratio is what may cause noise. i believe it needs to be around... 1:7?

ok so i should be alright

do u guys think i should put some bracing(dowels) in my box and if so where should i place them and i plan on putting 45's in every corner and fiber glassing the inside with some woven roving cloth( i kno overkill)
