esedriver567 Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 i have a 15" rockfordfosgate p2 subwoofer and a 800w lanzar vibe 4 channel amp. everytime im driving or just showing off my system my sub goes out and i have to go in mny trunk and wiggle the wire or twist the rca cable plug to get it working agian. it is happening frequently and i am really fed up with it and i hae no idea what to do. i got this rca cable new from autozone so can that be it? it also did this to my other two rca cables from soche and monster wire and i thought its because they were pinched. any idea? :hairtrick: Sicc 2 Sicc SMD FOR LIFE
fischy fisch Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 spend a lil money on some better rca lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol.
Team_DC-Derrick Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 well you have a 4 channel amp on a sub, thats kinda um yeah...... and what does your electrical system look like? are any of your wires touching anything at all? like your power wire touching your remote wire, or ground touching, or anything like that? you could also be running the channels at a lower impedance than what it can take, and cutting it off.... or sending it into protect.. The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... I just realized Steve has reach Voldemort status, over on JP's site he is the one who will not be named....."We dont speak his name over here, fearing it will destroy us" LOL not even in hush tones
