DEEz NUTz Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 on a 4 channel amp can u wire up more than 4 speakers ( 1 per each ch. ) and be ok ? or would it lower the heck out of the ohm load and damage the amp ? reason ask because my subs are now killing my Hi's and i need more VOCALs !!!! or do i need to buy another amp and run 4 more 5.25's up front ? 153.3 @ Turkey Drag 2009 Spl Modified 1001-2000 - Derrick Jones my alias... wL<3bass Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 Most 4 channel amps are stable down to 2ohm per channel....my rockford is stable down to 1ohm per channel so in my case I could run up to 4 4ohm speakers per channel and still be fine, for a total of 16 speakers at 4ohm a piece. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
