They are epic because no matter what forum you go to people know about the funky pup as being one of the worst subwoofers avaiable. So they become the butt of several jokes and are acclaimed for their spl qualities which they have none of. It's just an on going joke in the car audio community. I personally have never heard one, but in the right enclosure I'm sure that they can sound very good.

not only will they sound very good but the sq on those would make the devil go back to being an angel

...he wouldn't have a choice because hell is what would have to power the pup that is funky

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

...unless you put a funky pup dust cap on another speaker...in that case it adds about 150dbs or 200 depending on what speaker you put it on

ps: never but a funky pup dust cap on an fully loaded fi btl 18" or a dc level 5, in which case the world would end
