Boon Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 It's just a huge ass tapped horn. Googled 'tapped horn experiment' and you'll get some interesting reading. 10.x volts fo' life!
Forevrbumpn Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 it is a tapped horn, and a bad ass subwoofer enclosure, BUT on thing its meant for is the bass to carry a lot further than what a car can do, its to help throw bass at a further distance. it was meant for the possibility of avalanche control, like the MTX jackhammer was, crowd control, and other uses But they used a tapped horn, because those do better with distance of bass- if that makes sense I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
