can anyone explain the matterhorn to me?

i know whats in it i'm just tryin to figure out how exactly it works. Is the entire enclosure angled out like a horn with subs on it or is it something totally different..

ive seen the vids i think its awesome. especially that they used mtx is there ne where i can go to do research on it or is it"top secret" or somethin like that

It's just a huge ass tapped horn.

it is a tapped horn, and a bad ass subwoofer enclosure, BUT on thing its meant for is the bass to carry a lot further than what a car can do, its to help throw bass at a further distance. it was meant for the possibility of avalanche control, like the MTX jackhammer was, crowd control, and other uses

But they used a tapped horn, because those do better with distance of bass- if that makes sense
