For burp I ran 4-Stetsom 7kd's and 2 14k2d's, Only burned coils once and the first subs lasted almost two years on the d5's, reconed for lower impedience and ran the 7kd's ttwo years without burning. For a short time I had a Stetsom 10kd on a 9515E paper cone CF dustcap D1.5 - so probably getting 6kw+++ It loved it as long as I didn't clip it... Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

Btw I've seen 9500s take 4-6kw daily in very very select setups and they were run by some experienced competitors with a ton of time on the 9500s. Also they were on the kevlar cones w/ an extremely stiff suspension. I would never suggest running 5k daily to any woofer though, even though after imp rise it will never seen that much power.
