IH8PunkRok Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 engineering i thought it would be cool. i thought id get to work with things i liked doing. i thought id get to make things i like. nope engineers are supposed to be good with people (i hate people) engineers make systems work (id rather do it all myself than to rely on others) the thing i hate most is the shit ill be working on. That being said, if I decide I don't want to be an engineer of some kind im pretty much screwed here, because engineering is about all they have where I go. Going 4 steps beyond calculus is intense, and I dunno if I'm ready to dedicate 80 hours a week to designing stuff. I want a life. I think I gotta change my major, but I'm confused. I envy all business majors, my roommate is one and sleeps in til 1 everyday and then plays guild wars. He will have his degree before me.
