Marlo Stanfield
if you have a compresser or someone you know with on... you can do it yourself easy, prolly less then what a shop could do if your looking for cheap paint job and with litte bit og time praticing could be even better then alot of shops. go to summitracing.com but a spray gun with a good tip and they for ALOT of summit paint and clear for pretty cheap and i've honestly seen ALOT of nice paint jobs done with it if you take your time This is all very true but you gotta get ALOT of practice spraying or it will come out terrible. Also gotta make sure u have the correct pressure, tips and proper paint mixture. Another thing is good luck trying to paint a car outside of a booth(say in a driveway or garage) and it will make an absolute mess. Plus if u so happen to run into any sort of outdoor elements(if u don't have a garage or makeshift spray booth) like wind while spraying or sudden rain, you'll have to start from stage 1 all over. Spraying at home can be done but you gotta be willing to invest a lil bit of $$ and a good amount of time to learn how to properly spray. There are a bunch of places online that sell cheap home spray booths that are similar to a large tent, which you can pull into and get away from dirt, the elements, etc. Another thing to remember is to get a proper ventilator so you're not inhaling the paint fumes. abaddon
And if you do end up buying a spray gun, get a gravity-feed gun so you're not fuckin around more than you have to.
