Torres Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 for your speaker wire... drill a hole JUST big enough to fit the wire threw and pull it threw then take some wood glue and put it in there let it dry and youll be good if its a tight enough fit you might not even need glue always seal up the hole. it might not be much but air WILL find a way to leak out very nice job for your first try. i've seen some chopped up first boxes lol. with that said...next build, round over the port openings. and the piece inside the box. whether with a router or sander or something. and i woulda made that 45 in the port a tad bigger. nothing major by any means, but just something to keep in mind good job tho! i also like my subs flush mounted. looks nice and acts as a double baffle for stiffness. but sometimes the amount of wood you have doesnt allow for that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah there is ONE spot that is leaking a wee bit of air that ima fix this weekend, but that's pretty much all I really have to fix..except for running the speaker wire through the box, or onto some terminals, still gotta decide, thanks for the input!
