Steph3n1
just as your saying. the cd skips there is really no resolving that what kind of headunit are you running? if you get a ipod you wouldent have that prob ever again. or get an alpine just to test my alpine hit it while the music was playing and it wont skip no matter what i do Quote 2005 Ford Ranger Reg cab Build in Progress T3 Audio T2000 12 ARC SE4000 Stinger HPM 1/0 Wire DC power 270xp Batts: 1 Redtop up front and a Stinger SPP2250 in the back Hopes to be in and around a 150....weel see my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/steph3n1 Team DBs (Driven By sound)

I was thinking of instead of bolting the cd player directly to the car with its frame that holds the deck, I would put some think rubber grommets in between them to break down the vibration .. or just losing the screws a little to help idk. any other ideals Quote 144+ DB'S OUT OF A CONVERTIBLE 12" Funky Pup Subwoofer (The worlds most powerful subwoofer) 6" Aero Ported Box Hifonics - Bxi2010-D Pioneer Deck RD Audio - Front Speaker Rockford Fosgate - Rear Speakers KnuKonceptz - 0 Gauge Wire KnuKonceptz SS Karma - 10 Gauge Sub Wire KnuKonceptz - Krystal Kable Rca Big 3 - Upgrade - 0 Gauge Kinetik - Hc1800 Battery

CaptainzPlanetz
So you still hear the Bass but the Vocals Mess Up? Are your door speakers ran off of the HU? I had a problem a few months back, The rear by 9's were not hooked up, and when the bass it the vocals would just stop or sometimes make kinda a crackling sound in and out. First I thought it was the HU skipping but it wasnt that, then I thought maybe the harness was loose in the back of the HU it wasnt that, Well Eventually it turned out it was the leads going to the by 9's, there was a small bit of wire protruding from the pos. lead going to the by 9, well it turns out when the bass hit it would cause the wire to hit the rear deck metal and ground out, therefore causing my vocals to cut in and out, so I taped up the wire better and problem gone. So it you happen to not have a set of speakers connected and the leads are loose I would check to make sure they arent grounding out. Thats my lil story LOL.
