stevh0
Right , so my 4 15inch build is not a daily . i wish! i do however have some other woofers lying around . The most i could possibly squeeze in there is about 5 cu ft Net. thats enough for a boomy 15incher . but 1 15 is not enough especially not after the 4 15s ! so what do i do build a 5 cu ft sealed enclosure for 2 15s? i hardly think the 2.5 cuft per woofer is enough , unless in a common enclosure ? or drop my one 15inch DD in the 5 cu ft box tuned to 30hz help out guys! sean 371
I'd do the 15 in DD in a 4 cube net, not 5 cube, enclosure at 30 hz. civichatch
J.W why do you want a sealed for 2 15's. I have a sealed box also and i love it. But just wondering what your reason is. sean 371
I believe he said in another thread that the weight of that box makes it not practical. So he's trying to get a smaller box going. stevh0
ill still have the 4 15s around , but i need something more practicle for daily. 5cuft sealed for the 2 15's i think 5 cuft ported might be a tad too small , although they are low powered , they might bottom out . is 5cuft ported too small for 2 15's ? oh the dd is the baby 1015a 600w rms single voice coil . although for a bottom entry level sub it makes alot of noise
civichatch
well my 15 is at 1.75 cu ft. So 5 cu ft for two should work good Quote System Specs: Alpine SWR-1542D 15" sub Sealed Subwoofer Box MTX mxa 6001 Class D 774watts RMS @ 2ohms MTX Bass Knob Pioneer 6.5's in doors MTX Thunderdome 6x9 in rear Stinger 1 Farad capacitor 80 amp stinger fuse BIG 3 in 4 gauge wire 4 gauge power/ground wire JVC MP3 CD Car Deck (KD-G320) 12 gauge Monster speaker wire to Sub 16 gauge Stinger speaker wire to doors Stinger Gold Plated Battery Terminals
