high output alt for a boat?

Recommended Posts

so my buddy as a malibu v-ride wakeboarding boat....and he keeps adding amps and wants to run like 3 or 4 batteries...

so basically...is a high output alt on a boat do-able? i would imagine so....an alt big enough to keep the equivelant of two d3100s happy...just wondering if this is possible and if anybody has any experience with this type of application...

thanks!

i likes me some audio stuff...

What motor? Do you have any numbers off the oem alt?

We do about 80 boat alts a year. Not a problem. Just need to know what type of mounting ears you have

let me shoot him a messege and ill get back to you...not sure he will want to spend the money (although i think he should), but ill get the part numbers so i can get a price quote for him..thanks
