How safe is that? And do you know how you would go about doing it with a 2600 Watt amp?

i googled his amplifier in his signature and its a 2 channel amplifier, 2 x 150 watts at 4 ohm. the p1´s rms is 150 watts, so it would be safe to run it that way.

but i would deffinetly recommend running it on a home receicer

i use computer PSU's to power my car amp's

i got them all for free so i couldnt beat it, however i HIGHLY and i do MEAN!!! HIGHLY recommend getting a Lab Power Supply like this, if your set on using a car amp or already have a car amp

http://www.powersupplydepot.com/productvie...roduct=16502+PS

Computer PSU's are rated like sony xplod amps

they claim 500w but if you try to pull anywhere near that the voltage tanks

The computer power supply method works. I'm running a 750 watt Corsair 60A @ 12v and it's never gotten hot, barely even warm.
