EricR Posted May 26, 2007 Author Report Posted May 26, 2007 how do i get it modded can it be done by anyone or does it have to do with the internals????? and if i am able to do it myself....i am building an amp rack for it next week so i'll prob install 2 fans, one at each end of the rack.......im running it at 1 ohm still if i turn it up it cuts off but its not getting that hot so i am prob going to series the btl so the amp wont keep cuttin off but damn its hittin hard i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

dmanson Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 it would be wise to wait until you get another amp and run them both strapped. they will still put out the same power (1500rms a piece, just at a lower ohm and it'll be safer for them. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. (2)-RFT165s components, ...... 4 separate 1 inch tweetersRF T600-2(fronts) Punch 450.4(rear) Audiocontrol 3.1. DC power 260amp alternator w/MLA Module

EricR Posted May 29, 2007 Author Report Posted May 29, 2007 well i got bored and built a lil amp rack and mounted my stiner volt meter at tha top....and damn i need to upgrade my alt.....im running low 12's with AC and bumpin pretty good.....next upgrade will be a chrome 220 Iraggi alt...... Edit.....i also ordered 5 yards of carpet and 2 cans of 3M Super 77 spray adhesive from PartsExpress....supposed to be here tomorrow then i will carpet everything i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
