what did u do to this, it sounds exactly the same as bigpimpn91 version from 2 years ago

ur still boosting too much, lots of flat spots in songs that are already clipped like "iced out"

well i have been boosting really at all all ive been doin is slowing them down...i dont know if that could be causing it or what

Are you checking the originals for clipping before you slow them down?

yeah im not tryin to bash ya, just informing u

u really need to watch the songs in a oscope before u do anything to it

heres an example:

if there is a .2 second clip... the song is 4 minutes long and u slow the song 25%... u just lengthened that clip to .25

now repeat that clip every second in the song and u can see why it becomes a problem

u have guys on this forum running 10-20kilowatts... they dont want music that will cause extra heat from clippage

alot of it has to do with song choice... downloading 7 copies of the same song (just look for different file sizes) until u find the one that lends itself to the most altering

i dont always look for the loudest copy... i look for the cleanest most distortion free sounding copy i can locate

i think u need to move over to Audacity for awhile before u get used to what ur doing

its easier to learn from scratch than virtual dj

ill show u with "iced out," give me a second to upload

i listen to all my songs on windows media player on that scope and i can never see any clipping but i guess i dont have a precise eye for it
