I see people do it all the time, but what does running a ground through the car do? why not just ground it to the frame? Thanks mayne Might actually be picking up a TC 5200 15" and running a ground from front to back just makes a better ground when running over 300amps. The frame is a good ground but not as good as running straight from battery since the frame is made of thin metal and has lot of spot welds etc you know? Team Bass-Hz

Only place i could fit it. Ya it sucks but its ok trial and error So the ground from your amp is just running to the neg on your batt? thatd be a tight ass sub too! I got 2 grounds from front batt to rear batts (busbars) than i run a ground off that to my amps. And ya the 5200 is going to be badasss Team Bass-Hz
