Looking to make some small pods for my XXX mids because my door panels leak (all stealths do). and i dont like my shit getting rained on Also want to up the power handling by going sealed. We'll see how it goes. Any suggestions just let me know. Trying to make this a learning experience. I didnt get a pic of me taping up the panels because I had no batteries. passenger side has 3 layers of glass, drivers side has 2. Im giving it another layer then its time for shaping and trimming Updates tonight or later this week. Mounting depth on these mids are 3.9 inches. finkster Posted December 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 heres an update...i failed hardcore! not so much on the glassing, but its more of a room issue, even on the doors. Its one of those cars where the dash is in the way of the speakers. Im going to have to use some rounded over mdf and just wrap it on this one. If the door panel is widened more than .75 inches it will not shut sorry to be a backer outer but its not feasible to try it at this point. I thought i would run into this problem but at this point if i were to make it fit...it would not even look custom it would be so flat and shallow....
