i have a pickup i may have an iraggi 240 amp alt soon

We will have one for this application, but do not have it now. Prob in about 2 months.

do you have one in stock for a 2003 lincoln navigator?

We prob will not be able to have a VCM for this application. Our engineers are looking into it now, but we have not started production on this application.

so if were SMD member we kinda get a discount?? :)

Retail is $146.59

Can this control 2 ford 3G Mechman 250 alts with one module? It is on a 2003 F150 4.2l

Also with this module can I go back to running a 14v battery bank? I had one before but the alternator couldn't keep it fully charged. The tech at Ford said as long as I keep it under 16volts max the stock electronics are going to be fine. And will charging at 15.7 or so be enough to keep 14volt batteries charged?

We will have one for this application, but do not have it now. Prob in about 2 months. We are still testing to see if it can control both alternators on this application.

By any chance would there be one for a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0L?

We have a temporary fitment guide on the site now for the VCM.

Go to the site http://www.4xspower.com and click on PRODUCTS.

Scroll down to the VCM and click on the

VCM Controller and Harness Combo Kit

When it opens up click on the "open in new window" trash (just beside of the increase size trash). This is not a very user friendly list, but we wanted to get something up for you to use until after we get back from the holiday weekend.

If you have any questions you can post them up or shoot me a PM. I will be checking in throughout the weekend.

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

  • 2 weeks later...
Here is a sneak peak of the new VCM (THIS IS JUST AN R&D UNIT). We are taking orders now, and there is a limited number in this first production run. If you want one you better get your orders in quick. Ships first week of December.

The VCM configures stock alternators to battery voltages including 12V, 14V, and 16V. Voltage can be fine tuned to preferences from dash controller.

Dash-mount controller

Voltage adjustment 14.5V to 19.5V (0.1 increments)

Backlight digital voltage display (bright/dim modes)

Keys lock preventing accidental adjustments

Plugs directly to original harness/alternator
