cc_audio Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 thank you ill upload some pix of the progress, i woke up this morning around 10am went out did 2 more runs hooked up the batteries soldered all the terminals zip tied every 2 feet safety frist, i was at kingsuv's house last night got a bunch of ideas lol why dont you hook your amp up? Kinetik 1400+1800+2400+170amp alt and two runs of 1/0 = <439 potential amps. About 800amps are needed to run that amp daily, I have two more big-ass C&D batts that I plan on using, I just dont want to rebuild to make the amp and batts fit. So its just chilling in my closet for now til I upgrade alt again, add additional four runs of 1/0, rebuild enclosure and possibly upgrade car to somthing newer. Idk but tomorrow zfrerich zack is coming over to see if we can solve this, might be voltage but I doubt it,........good luck with yours tho with an aftermarket alt and maybe one Or two more runs you should be fine! matt402 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 yeah not bad im going to be running it @.5 hoping to see 7k lol suppose to do 8k at .5 i dont have the alternator in or the MLA yet but eventually i will. also the amp is on a amp rack thats stiff as hell, and this box i got does very well with an at7k before i got this box, dude had an at7k on the box did him well. should be nice and loud i need to find someone who can clamp it for me though was that dustin (aka dusty)?
