Sorry bud I usually like to just buy tons of equip to experiment I just was hooking up my friend I sold it and the amp for 175. Ya brand new. Marlo Stanfield Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 For a loud daily setup CRX style(sub up, port back) is usually the way to go w/ an SUV, but it will vary a little bit though. With that amp I'd suggest an enclosure like 5ft3 @ 34hz w/ 60^2 of port, that's if you decide to go with slot port. I'd personally suggest like 2 6" aeroports w/ around 7-10in^2 of port per cubic foot(so like 35-50in^2 for a 5ft3 box). Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... I went with a slot port 72 sq inch ( ya a little big) tuned to 38 hz.
