This was a new striker that I put in when I painted the truck...The original one had almost ripped out and the latch wore a groove almost a 1/4" deep...I welded the sheet metal back up and put an 11ga stainless steel backing plate on both the front and back side....it's solid as hell now. I wasn't clamping them, so I have no idea on what the real world power or my impedence rise was. A half-wit gave you a piece of his mind, and you held on to it. I have 5....the other 3 are still in the box from when I moved out here from cali. No point throwing all 5 in at this moment... And yes there are plans for 10. Welp..I got out and did a little more work today...made all the aluminum trim and stainless grilles...filled up the lip on the first two and sanded it down...finishing up the 3rd and I'm on the home stretch to wrap these bad boys.
