i know Lanzar isn't as big/good as RF, DC, Sundown, DAT, etc. but you think that this amp does the rated wattage?

If they are anything like the other Opti amps then it will do pretty close to rated... I know the MSRP isn't the actually selling price, but damn that is a big number.

I think the 2 x blah blah power ratings are a mistake, it's 1x. Monoblock. I think that amp has the same guts as a SoundStream XXX-6500.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Opti6000D?? I'm pretty sure that had the same guts to the XXX6500 but not 100% positive. Definitely would like to open this up and see what's cooking inside of it. Who knows though, I really doubt many people at all will be running this amps unless they do get a very nice price on 'em.

i ran 4 of these in my no wall set up a few years ago, they do the rated power. and yes, they are the same board as the xxx6500, however, the soundstream will continue to gain with higher voltage, where the opti didnt produce any more power above 15.6V.
