I'm sure those audiopipe amps hit their RMS rating so no need to be surprised, AP uses quality parts. They are just not the mad scientist like the boys from Sundown. (few are) The db number doesn't really matter other than it was a pretty good score. Shit Kandiman used to hit 143db with one 10" Fi Q in the trunk. It is all about the box and set-up. Live the dream baby...You will be shitting your pants again before you know it.

Thats why Im investing in a SUV tax season . But glad to see the numbers. I havent heard too much about the 3000, but do now it does rated. However the 3500.1 is the beast of the series, they even burp at .25 ohms. Nightshade Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Nice score Machado!!! I also bet that AP amp is not making anywhere near 3K out of it. I had a teamate that ran one this past year and with the gains pretty much cranked he only got around 1900 out of it with it wired down to 1 ohm. The 3500.1 are 1 ohms. Surprised he didnt fry it. Yeah, um... We actually do know what we're doing. I happen to be an NSPL champion and he was the runner up this past year. In competition you run the amps lower than they are stable to get max power for burps. I run my Sundown saz2000d's that are 1 ohm stable strapped at .5 ohms (which allows each amp to see .25 ohms) for burps. Are you gonna tell me I don't know what I'm doing too? This isn't my first rodeo cowboy, lol. Don't take me the wrong way, I just don't think you know my background enough to say myself or one of my former teamates doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to running an amp below impedence. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
