im sure theres a thread about this somewhere, but just got off work and tired. When you strap two amps, what is the power total you get. Example from my other post; Two sundown saz-1500s strapped and pushing a dual 4 sub, whats the max power the sub would get? I know noob question, but i've never strapped two amps.

I read somewhere that when you strap two amps, each amp sees 1/2 the ohm load. So, if you wire a dual 4 sub down to 2 ohms and run it to a pair of strapped amps, each amp would see 1 ohm. So you would be getting 1500 out of each amp minimum with good electrical. (If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me)

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

Sounds good to me lol. I hope you're right, lets see what the others have to say.

some amps double the ohms when strapped you will allways be louder un strapped by a few 10ths of a db

skittlesRgood has 2 sundown 1500's strapped at 1/2 ohm getting 3,5xx watts out of em (not for daily)

Have you ever had your woofers blown?
