Rogers Posted November 28, 2009 Report Share Posted November 28, 2009 so i bought a sae1200d from a guy on caco... and i opened it up and i see black spots on the metal pieces on the sides.. and the black comes off on my finger if i touch it... also there are a couple places on the board that looks to me like there has been repairs made.... is there just an obvious way to tell if it has been repaired? Rogers Posted November 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2009 ok uploading pics now... im not even sure if its been repaired... none of the components on the board are broken... but i can see a couple places where it looks like the epoxy has been grinded back from one of the little components.... and there is a spot where the epoxy is melted a little and black... im going to test the amp after bit... but i have my doubts if it will work or not... ive seen boards with less burns that didnt work....
