IH8PunkRok Posted December 3, 2009 Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 drew that up today. its all drawn to scale. 1mm = 2 inches specs outside dim 33" W x 17.5" L x 14" H port is 100 sq inches 8" W x 12.5" H x 53" L 8th wave "tuned" to 32 hz it isnt much larger than my current box and could be very feasible to do. question is... is it worth it? how good are 8th waves? how will the DD handle it? Forevrbumpn Posted December 3, 2009 Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 dont forget the 1/4 wave of the box will out do the 1/8th wave, so poly fill should be used but as long as you have a cabin gain close to the 1/8th wave you may be alright I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
