mlstrass
hey thanks alot guys for ur feedback! i played whatever songs (put on, elevator, bme click etc), gains are about 1/5, i used bass knob at max for only a few seconds, they sound good as hell, they move a lil and they dont get warm so i am all good now OMFG at the useless info in this post. AQ recommends playing them at low volume and no low freqs to break in the spider pack, has nothing to do with the surround loosening up. They use an 8 layer spider and that's what requires the break in as early on they had an issue with a few subs that were played full tilt right from the start and they made a noise at lower volumes as the spider pack didn't set properly. Now it's more of a CYA thing on their part as I've heard of no issues in over a year and DJ constantly tests and upgrades the subs. Play the radio or whatever for 8-10 hours at low volume as you just need to get some heat into the motor. I leave the car in the garage playing and start it up every few hours to keep from killing the batts. The suspension will loosen up over time and the sub will get louder and play lower....
