99GPGTX Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) I have a Dell Inpiron 1520..160gb HD... need something bigger. i know we got some nerds up in here help me out bc i know how to use computers but know nothing about the components So i got my new HD in now i need to transfer data! i heard there was some sort of cable i could use? but have no idea what or how to do this. z_ro Posted December 20, 2009 Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 theres always external harddrives for storage of media!! i seen a two terabyte drive for like 99 bucks lol ^ this... i have a TB and a 500GB just for media. the 500 used to be up to about 300gigs of pron... till wifey found it...lol i didnt watch it anymore and honestly forgot it was there... but i didnt hear the end of it for about a year lol the External hard drives are handy because you can jump from computer to computer with em.
