you know nothing WOW just because there 400 rms rated subs dosent mean you cant throw more power to them than that. dont tell the guy to scrap his shit if he aparently likes it and its a clean install. wat do you have thats SO amazingly loud

lol man im not gone try and come off like a jerk either but my buddy had these same woofers, they are rated what they are rated. you not gone get more then 400rms out of that sub, sorry.....bc my hard headed friend had some and said they did 1000rms so i said ok lets hook it up to my amp. i put 500rms to it and i bottomed the sub out.

okay, then you exceeded the mechanical limitations of the sub, which is mostly influenced by the box. A power rating is more of a thermal rating, so unless it started to get stinky off of 500 watts then it can handle 500 watts with the correct box

ok i admit i was wrong... im probably putting out more than i thought, havnt tested but i know what 130db sounds like and im not htting it... congrats on your system, blows mine away... tbh tho this is my system, i was posting for other specs... i own the Fi's and everything i dont have the hifonics yet, i was getting input on if the whole setup was worth it or new ideas... i just got it recently tbh as somone recommended me the setup

130dB is easy peasy piece of piss. I reckon I could do it with a 6" midbass woofer on a couple of hundred watts. If you're not getting 130 from a pair of 15s on over 1000w you should quit car audio.

Hell my friend did high 130s in a Jaguar with a single 15 on like 800w. And they're about the hardest possible car to make loud.

Well I still have these woofers. Got my new though amp. Its a GPV2000.1 running at 1ohm. These subs handled the power pretty well lmao
