LoudBlazer Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Good or bad thing? Im thinkign bout using them. Any opinions? http://www.darvex.com/MANLPL-MIDI/XScorpio...i+ANL+Fuse.html Quote 1997 2 Door Blazer Bagged & Body Dropped SBC/TH350
SQMonte Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 I bought some for the power lead from alt to battery when I did the big 3 but never actually used it. I think it's only something worth getting if your install will showcase it somehow, other than that it really serves no purpose. 97SSBlazer Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 a fuse is a fuse? i guess. If you want a LED always on than get them. I don't see any point to use them under the hood but if you had a nice clean amp rack than maybe it would be worth it. Quote lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/

That being said, I really don't know why I opted for them instead of a regular fuse of the same type. I guess it looked cool at the time:dunno: Quote Alpine CDA-117...Memphis 16-X03 CDT Audio SQA-4100...SEAS Prestige H1396...Crescendo MP-6 Soundstream Rubicon 1.2500d...Digital Designs 3512f

SQMonte Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Are yours the XScorpion ones from Darvex? Did you have to run a ground wire to your's?Yup! Haven't hooked it up yet.....I got it for use on the alt power lead when I did the Big 3 but when I was doing it I was told I didn't need a fuse for that lead so I never opened it up.
