ChevyBoy
to cut off certain frequencies that different speakers can handle. you dont want a sub trying to play 10k hz, and you dont want a tweeter trying to play 30 hz.
no0b4lif3
so if i put crossovers on my subs, they wont play voices/words, just frequencies they are sposed to? Edited May 17, 2007 by no0b4lif3
ChevyBoy
your amp should have built in crossovers. set it to lp (lowpass) if its a 2 channel, or if its a class d/monoblock amp, its already crossedover.

Chris
Almost all modern amps have at least a low pass crossover built in for your subs these days.
