So im trying to get more bass from my 6.5's ordered some rockford fosgate power components today and im getting damplifier pro and a 4 channel amp for my doors, but i was wondering what else i can do to improve mid bass...i thought about those baffle type things that are kinda like a box...anyone tried those and any suggestions to help improve are always welcome.

i used some of those plastic baffles and they changed the way my 6.5 sounded alot. but i cant say for the better. i took them back out and put 2 layers of deadner in them and that made them sound 100% better. but i still wont say that they sound better. its kinda hard to tell.

Ray, can you explain what you mean by door skin...like the panel?

Ray is refering to teh door structure that you will see as soon as you pull off the door panel and vapor barrier thin plastic.
