tobio19 Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Hey guys me again, Thanks to you guys for helping me choose an AMP for my new build the AQ2200D, ive placed the order and it should arrive sometime next week So thats the AMP solved, now to the question of power, I have a 2006 Mazda 3 sedan, so the stock battery should be fine, but ofcourse im going to be getting a 2nd battery and put that in, what my question is, what capacitor should I get? Dont know too much about these so any help I accept thanks. Also im going to get a box built or build one myself, not sure on that yet, for the 18" FI BTL sub im getting. loganberry Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 no cap at all, you dont need it...make sure that 2nd batter is pretty big too...or get a 2nd, i would get 2 extra batteries but thats just me My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

Didn't do much for me when I got one. Got the second battery and all was good. The second battery should take care of everything. But that is just me. I know people who have caps and love em. I would rather spend the money on another battery or beefed up alt. It's not what others think. It's what you like. Fuck them haters.
TeejayBee Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 All a cap does is store a little amount of power then once your bass hit it drains the cap and then you drain your battery up front to fill the cap up then it happens again
