Hey everyone,

As an update ... Im finished with the crown vic that ive been working on for the past few months so imma pos the links for the videos and get to posting some final pics on here. Thanks for all the love.

...Ppl have been askking for a build log so i figured i'd start here. Steve said i should get on, so I guess im get onto the forum game. Ill be posting my pics and logs.

Original Panel

Mounted Speaker rings

Wrapped and Soaked with Fiberglass

Test fit while i let it dry, that way the plastic dont warp on me

Painted the controls and Plastic parts of the door panel

When i got finished wrapping with fabric and the paint dried this is what i came up with as far as the door panels

Jus do the obvious prep, clean all the dirt and whatnot off it

Use adhesion promoter on the plastic 1-2 coats

Then use special Krylon Fusion paint. It adheres to plastics really well. I used about 3-5 light coats, probably OD' but its not gonna kill me.

thanks, cant wait to see how your center console comes out. im slowly working on mine. its not gonna be anything special. its gonna hold my flip out, cup holders and a spot to hide my gun.
