Piggie916 Posted May 28, 2007 Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 (edited) We have a car audio shop in rancho cordova, ca that had like 3-4 of those 36in ab subs. I think they eventually started using them (or 2) as a table. From what I saw, the motor did not look like it had any where near enough power to move that massive alum cone, considering my XXX's motor is nearly 4x the size. It may make a decent midrange speaker tho....... true size doesnt always matter but i bet in the right enclosure that thing moving a quarter of an inch will put out a lower and more loud bass than a 12 at full excursion. also VERY good work fire for the research and time put into finding out about this thing...thats an A++ for you!!!
