03navi Posted December 12, 2009 Report Share Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) i have 2 15 dual 2 ohm(1500wrms) pushed by a kicker 2500.1 each sub is getting about 1400 wrms! also getting a .5 ohm stable amp of course! *if i was to wire them down to .5 ohm would i be able to give them more power? *^^*also will you give me some examples of amps that run at .5 ohm 3000wrms or higher! Then yeah it'll be louder. you culd but i wouldnt try it unless the amp is .5 ohm stable He said he was going to get a .5 ohm stable amp to replace the kicker with. Or well that is how I am reading the post. Also I use to have a zx300.1 and I ran it at .5 ohm load without any problems except the amp getting rather hot pretty quick.
