this first video is to show the power difference between a US amps XT4000d rated @ 1500 rms

the other 2 are with a t10001bd rated @ 1000 rms and a battery added.

whatcha think?

love the setup. but a tip, try tuning your gains with the sub level at +15 on the headunit. from what ive read, kenwoods dont output full preout voltage unless your at +15 sub level.

its a sony headunit(check my sig). i keep @ -5 cuz any higher and i cant turn my bass down with my bass knob cuz its a bass boost knob

edit: 4in PVC, my gain is only halfway

Good to know I have a kenwood and I keep mine at like 7 Im gonna try it at 15.

but damn that sounds hella loud, im trying to talk my friend into getting 15 with 1000 watts.

But is that explorer hard to get loud? I am looking into getting one

I hear Suvs are somewhat easier than most to get loud in, all I can say is if you wanna get loud easy dont get a truck. Lows dont get real low and nice unless windows are open. sealed up its harder .

I had that HU, I hated it. Upgraded to a Kenwood KDC-X592 and the difference was like night and day.

On my Kenwood I think I always kept the sub level at 0 I believe, been a such a long time since I used it I can't remember.
