looking for new headunits

Recommended Posts

well im looking at new head units, thinking of getting an alpine... heres what im looking at

CDA-105

but does this unit have seperate subwoofer controls? and an eq that you can change seperatly, like bass, mid, trebel? like my current HU has bass (-8/+8) mid (-8/+8) treble (-8/+8) and i like having that along with a good subwoofer control, but does it have an aux input? doesnt look it

also looking at

CDE-103BT

same question as above with the subwoofer and eq settings, and i like this because it does have an aux input and the only reason i prefer an aux input is because i dont like navagating through songs on a single DIN hu, PITA IMO i'd rather scroll through the ipod in my hand.

their both the same price, im trying to keep it under 200

i think i may go with the cda-105, even though it doesnt have the aux like i would prefer it has a USB which i may use and i guess i can deal with the direct connection for ipod through the HU

Indeed.

It doesn't have internal bluetooth I don't think, unless I can't get mine to work... AI-NET expansion cables will NOT work with the CDA-105 soo... CDA-105 does have a nice HPF and such for the mids/highs. Subwoofer control, bass and treble control, no midrange control. Could always get the IMPRINT processor.

yeah, i plan on having this HU for a while, so i might eventually get the imprinting for it, the HU i currently have i didnt plan on having too long so i didnt get any extensions for it, plus its not worth it considering every addon for the KDC-MP338 is more expensive than the hu its self lol

Ya i'm on GAOC, I have like 1 or 2 posts. I would get some cheap scosche RCA cables, they seem to work very well.
