1371_marine Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 I’m going to be using 5 kinetik HC2400 batts for my system but I don’t know what kind of charging system I need to use to keep them properly charged. I want to use irragi alts but how many and how many amps each is the is what I need to know Anyone that could help i would really appreciate it

What amps are you gonna be running, at what ohm will they be run, and how many?? i will be most likely be using 2 RF T2500.1bd for the subs @1ohm---2 RF T400.2 for the mids @1ohm ---and 2 RF prime R150.2 for the highs unsure of what ohm they will be ran at never had tweeters ran on there own amp im using 2 re audio XXX 18" subs and 2 re audio XXX component set +2 more tweeters

dmanson Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 definitely try and run dual alts. your battery bank should be good with what you have named. also you should do at least 3 runs of positive but i'm sure you might know that. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.
