WOW so i ordered my SMD 18 on the 12th of Feb. was told i was getting sub #23. well it's been over a month and still no sub in sight. so my advice to someone who might want one of these things. Put your money in the bank,and tell you AA dealer you'll pay on delivery. This way you can pay for most of the sub with the intrest you make waiting for delivery. there is a thing called the customer is always right. Well with a sale that cost me over 1k i'm still getting the run around. Funny thing is it was an extra 270 for shipping. Now if you think i'm being impationt your wrong. because sub's that were ordered the week after mine have been delivered already... so wtf SM or aa or UPS. who do i call....why the crazzy delay with my sub ??????? o and the tracking #'s given if you call aa for info are useless. Not good when the first 100 smd sub's cant even be delivered corectly........now you can boot me off this sight..i know anyone who speakes there mind on here is band. I'll be back................wtf wtf wtf with the SMD 18's Or is it all UPS's fault????????? # 89 delivered but mine still no word...

this is a problem you need to take up with your DEALER. I can certainly look into it and find out.

As far as getting "booted off the site for speaking their mind" thats BULLSHIT. People get booted for being ASSHOLES.

I dont know how long your dealer took to put the order in or what cause the delay but bro, you dont need to go straight for the juggular.....i am easy to work with EVEN IF I DIDNT MAKE THE SALE.

i will always do what i can but no need to rip me a new one when i had no control over it at all.

i will email you the tracking info that scott sent me.

Well I never once blamed one person, simply wrote on here so i might get some help. then I asked who's fault is it that it's taking so long... And how do i contact them if it's UPS's fault then AA should get a discount on there next few shipping orders,or something.

1st of all i got the whole thing figured out the product rep's for AA as well as Steve helped me with everything very well. AA is one solid company best I've ever dealt with , especially considering i kinda lost it. As far as the AA rep's for Hawaii two of the nicest people Ive ever talked to and really help clear everything up unbelievably well.

Now as fer as checking my attitude at the door read back a few pages when i started asking about shipping even look back at Steve's post's quoting me saying how there shipping out already and what not. then you'll understand more.

I understand your frustration bro that is a LOT of money! Just know that you dont have to worry about it - you can always ask me and i will be happy to look into whatever issue you are having, regardless of who the dealer was. I want you to be HAPPY!

the only thing that chapped my hide was the comment about people getting banned for speaking their mind. Thats so untrue. The only people who say that are people who were out of line, assholes, trouble makers or just shit talkers.......or something close to that.

Nobody who ever came here and got along with people, didnt start shit, and pretty much was a good person ever got banned, even if myself or a mod didnt agree with what they said somewhere.

Damn... that sucks about your guys wait times. i dunno how i got mine so fast? i got them a month ago on the 17th of feb. #9 #10. i dunno if your not allowed to post pics on this thread or if people just didnt want it out there that some people already had these "world famous" subs cause no one would help me post a pic of my 2 and then i was told do not post a pic. I gotta say these subs look bad ass. although i wouls say AA needs some quality control. the signed dust caps where opposite of the SMD sign on rear of magnet. so my subs are put in to see the signature but the back you can see the SMD upside down on the magnet. Also i dunno if these things need more power or what but i have 2 4000 watt amps going to 2 15s and im not that impressed with them over the mayhems. but maybe with more breaking in and tuning they will get more impressive. or maybe i need to buy a bigger amp? anyways its done with now and i dont regret dropping the money on them cause hell i was one of first to get them.... : )

can you post some before and after pics, vids etc in a different thread? If you werent impressed with them over the mayhems, theres probably something else going on besides power. 4000 watts should be plenty.

I would like to see what you did - sometimes direct swap is fine, sometimes of course, it isnt the best idea, i dont know what you had before so i dont know. Did you build a box specificly for these? What is the box size and tuning?

as for the sticker on back not matching the front, i have never heard anyone complain about that before LOL, i didnt know you could read them both at the same time even in a plexi glass box.
