Ok so i want to be able to use car amps for my home stereo and i dont know what equipment ill need to be able to pull it off...

Try finding a 1000 watt or larger inverter from a pc.

You need a computer power supply, get one thats a few hundred watts above your amp

lol i realized that after i posted, its the same kind of thing, you need something like this

which takes the voltage down to the usable 12 volts, but the amps are lower so itll go into protect if you draw to many, you can use a car battery to help this (sealed!...) but it still might not support it depending on the amps drawn

The SoundDigital FT120 will supply 120amps at 14Volts, off of a standard 110V wall socket, it also doubles as a charger. So you will be able to run a 1000rms amp directly off it, with no problems.
