When i was playing few songs, it started to smell like something was burning. What could of causae it? the sub hooked up at 2 ohms so it's around 600wrms. The gain turned about half way.

LoudBimmer Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Posted December 21, 2009 it's not coming from amp, and i dont see any smoke coming out of sub. btw, the sub is brand new. It was hooked up to 300wrms before, now it's 600wrms.

Guest Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 the sub is rated for 600rms so i dont think youll burn it out. knowing DC you could probably run 1200 to that thing all day. why did you turn your gain "half way" dont you have a DMM to use or something
