Ndnkobra Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 facepalm moments...but what kranny and decaf said. wire it like it is on the 12volt diagram, and set your gain down to the appropriate level or even a tad bit lower than the appropriate level and you'll be fine.

I set it at 27V, so about 600wrms, but i wonna set it to 700wrms. right now my voltage drops to 11.2-11.4 it's the lowest i seen so far. So. i dont think it's gonna be a good idea, to set it to 700-800wrms.
Decaf Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 i would set it for 25v since u are already dropping below 12v thats a general rule of thumb... dont go far below 12v and im guessing its louder now set up correctly... or rather it sounds way better and cleaner
Noobtastic14 Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 if you didnt set your bass boost and gain right the power to your subs can become clipped if you turn it up too high I think it basicaly means the signal isnt very clean. Someone can explain it alot better than me but clipping too much can cause the coils to heat up. theres a fine line, little bit of clipping wont hurt but too much can kill the subs.
