wow! ive annoyed the shit out of you with a single post... awsome! and I GUARANTEE you wont get that much power out of that Hifonics!... ive owned them.. and they dont do rated unless your voltage stays above 14.4 at full tilt... and i highly doubt it would...

and your half assing it by under powering your woofer... with half of its "rated" power... in a box that may or may not be correct... asking for advice on a cheap amp....

here is my opinnion... you have a fantastic sub... why, oh why would you want to go cheap on everything else?...... if you like alpine... get a mrp-m1000(great amp, ive owned before) have it set with an oscope, grab a secondary battery or two and build a proper enclosure... you cant just get a big amp and expect everything to be perfect..... simply put... you have to pay to play!

i dont need to know your box dimensions to make a box that's 3.5 cubes (that you said) in my calculator. then figure in different dimensions of the port (that you gave) and figure out that no matter how i arrange the dimensions, you dont have enough port area. which does not allow your sub to breathe properly, in turn choking the poor thing.

Guys just forget it I was being a jerk honestly I dont want to fucking argue, its annoying... its probably my box its probably my amp I don't really give a shit anymore.. im nto going to be bothered with it I already put enough into my system... trust me I paid to play and I'm not enjoying my play lol... whatever, I'll just figure it out, im going to recheck my wiring tommorow and all of the dimensions on my box and retune my amp with a different 50hz tone.

and now that I think of it it's a prefab box I bought off ebay for $6o you guys might be right, I feel dumb now... erm I didnt realize the box would make that huge of a difference, now I dont ahve money to build a new one so im stuck lol I thought it was a nice box and was tuned but now that I look at the dimensions its not so great.
